Jack and Jill event to fund scholarships

The Youngstown Chapter of Jack and Jill of America will mark 10 years of helping young black men raise funds for college.

The Beautillion Scholarship & Rites of Passage Gala will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. April 12 at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St.

Tickets cost $45, and proceeds will fund scholarships for high school seniors and the Jack and Jill Foundation.
