Radio station debut is delayed

YOUNGSTOWN

The on-air date for a new Mahoning Valley radio station has been pushed back. The station at 93.7 FM was tentatively scheduled to go on-air today. However, weather conditions delayed the mounting of broadcasting hardware, said Skip Bednarczyk, owner. The station should go live in 10 to 14 days, he said.

Home, garden and craft show

AUSTINTOWN

The Nature Stone Greater Youngstown Home, Garden and Craft Show will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Austintown Expo Center, located in Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave. Admission and parking are free.

The show will feature special pricing on new items for homes, and will have more than 150 exhibitors. New this year is a craft show with roughly 100 vendors. There also will be elaborate landscaping displays.

Showgoers can bring antiques and collectibles to be appraised for free from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday by Dave Dangerfield of Dangerfield Auctions. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Actors sought for several roles

BOARDMAN

Lemodeln Model and Talent Agency, 7536 Market St., is seeking actors to audition for two films and a print advertising campaign.

Needed for the print campaign are an African-American male, age 25-35; and a Mediterranean male, age 25-35.

For the films, men and women age 18 to 70 are needed as extras and featured extras. These are paid positions, and there is no charge to be considered for these projects. Current photos are necessary.
