BASKETBALL

BOWLING

Bowl Over Cancer fundraiser — is scheduled April 26 at Arrowhead Lanes in Columbiana. The evening includes three games of bowling, prizes, an auction, raffles and food. Registration starts at 8:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and proceeds benefit the Yellow Brick Place ACS Relay for Life team. U.S. Kids Golf — Canton local tour will begin April 5 at Windmill Lakes. Throughout the spring, U.S. Kids Golf will head to seven courses in Stark County and the surrounding area. Batting for Lydia — fast-pitch tournament is May 24 at Shaprsville, Pa., Softball Complex for 10U, 12U and 14U recreational and travel ball teams. The event is non-sanctioned with open rosters and has a two-game guarantee. Contact Mark Piccirilli at 724-977-7343 for information.

Streak 12U — is looking for a versatile utility player and a good defensive catcher to fill out our roster. Team will play 9-10 mostly ASA tournaments -within an hour’s drive of Youngstown.
