Top seniors set for Columbiana Classic

LISBON

Many of Columbiana County’s top senior basketball players will participate in Tuesday’s Columbiana County Classic at Lisbon High School.

The girls game will begin at 6 p.m. and the boys game will follow.

Lisbon’s Chris Huckshold will coach the boys Red Team while Wellsville’s David Thompson will lead the White Team.

Playing for the Red Team will be: Chandler Cornell, Beaver Local; Jared Lyder, Beaver Local, Josh Underwood, Beaver Local; Nate Garofalo, Columbiana; Dylan Hart, Crestview; D.J. Austin, East Liverpool; Austin Emmerling, East Liverpool; Caleb House, Heartland Christian; Jared Robinson, Heartland Christian; and Matt Spencer, Lisbon.

The White Team has: Billy Bibby, East Palestine; Alec Dumbauld, East Palestine; James Shea, Leetonia; Andrew Dolphin, Salem; Ryan Hoover, Salem; Jared Shilot, Southern; M.J. Williams, Southern; Caleb Conser, United; Seth Bradford, Wellsville; and Jordan Sloan, Wellsville.

Wellsville’s Ed Swogger will coach the girls Red Team and Crestview’s Rick Gates will lead the White Team.

Red Team players are: Danna Talbott, Beaver Local; Sierra Wright, Beaver Local; Mollie Donnelly, Columbiana; Bri Gingher, Columbiana; Aleah Whitacre, Columbiana; Emily Schneider, Leetonia; Haley Scoville, Leetonia; Madison Pennington, Heartland Christian; Brittany Clendenning, Wellsville; and Shartece Taylor, Wellsville.

Playing for the White Team will be: Emilee Chlebus, Crestview; Anna Hardenbrook, Crestview; Kiara Cowart, East Liverpool; Chelsea Possage, East Liverpool; Kelsey McKim, East Palestine; Ciurtney Weber, East Palestine; Sarah Boyd, Lisbon; Jenna Dickson, Lisbon; Becka Phillis, Southern; and Mackenzie Gatchel, United.
