WARREN

The estate of a woman who died after being run over by a garbage truck near the Steak ’n Shake restaurant at the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles on March 24, 2012, has sued the restaurant, the garbage company and a driver.

Carmella Rosasco, administrator of the estate of Jean Hall, 66, filed the suit last week in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court, naming Ohio Valley Waste Services Inc. of Columbus, driver Arthur D. Woolensack of Youngstown, and Steak ’n Shake Operations Inc. of Columbus as defendants.

The suit seeks at least $75,000 in damages on the grounds that Woolensack, his company and the restaurant were negligent.

Niles police said Hall, who was wearing dark clothes, was run over by the rear wheels of the truck as the vehicle passed to the side of the restaurant on its way to a trash receptacle.

The suit is assigned to Judge Andrew Logan.
