Youngstown schools to test computer version of state exam Monday
YOUNGSTOWN
Local schools are testing out a new version of a state exam Monday. Ohio is shifting to a computer approach to the Ohio Graduation Test next year instead of the pencil-and-paper test.
The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers is providing the language arts and math questions. The American Institute of Research is providing the science and social-studies questions.
School districts participating include Austintown, Jackson-Milton, South Range and West Branch. Testing is for students in grades three through 11. The scores will not be recorded this year.
