Radio Club booth is set for home, garden show

AUSTINTOWN

Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will have a booth at the Greater Youngstown Home and Garden Show, which takes place March 28 through 30 at the Austintown Expo Center, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

There still is time to register at the show for upcoming training classes in April for the entry-level technician’s operating license. The weekly classes will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. April 2 through 30 at ITT Tech, 1030 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown. There is no cost, but advance registration and the purchase of a book, the “Technician’s Class” by Gordon West, are required. For information call 330-717-3695 or email harens@juno.com.
