Pantry asks donations to hit Feinstein goal

Now is the best time to donate or pledge to Newton Falls Community Food Pantry, which helps provide food for those in need in the 44444 ZIP code and Newton Township.

Until April 30, the more the pantry receives in donations or pledges can be counted toward the Feinstein Foundation Challenge, and the more Newton Falls pantry will receive of the $1 million the foundation will be giving away to pantries across the country.

Donations can be cash, check, money order, or actual foods valued at $1 or more per pound, with a receipt. Pledges can be made to be paid later.

Make checks payable to Newton Falls Community Food Pantry and either send or take to the Church Mouse Thrift Shop, 261/2 W. Broad Street, Newton Falls, OH 44444, where the pantry is housed. All bulk foods, canned goods, frozen meats, etc. can be dropped off there as well.
