ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. April 7 at Holy Family Church hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Judy Solomon will present “Old World Traditions Lost and Retained — Jewish.” Traditional Jewish food will be served, and a klezmer band led by Ron Eiselstein will provide cultural enrichment. ASSOCIATIONS

Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter M, Mahoning Valley, will have its monthly meeting Saturday at Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 6. All motorcycle enthusiasts and their families are welcome. It is not a requirement to own a Gold Wing to be a member.

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. April 8 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The speaker will be Janet Thomas of Shop.com. The menu comprises assorted croissant sandwiches with side salads, coffee or tea and dessert. Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will celebrate its 10th anniversary during a Celebration of Spring dinner April 9 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The social will begin at 5:30 p.m., and a sit-down dinner will take place at 6. The cost is $21.50 per person, and reservations are due April 1; call 330-757-9368. Dinner choices are baked white fish, chicken francaise or Swiss steak jardiniere with redskin potatoes, glazed carrots, tossed salad, rolls and butter. Ice cream and cake are included. CLUBS

Canfield Republican Women’s Club dinner is set for 6 p.m. April 2 at A La Cart Catering, Lisbon Street in Canfield. The menu will consist of Caesar salad, herbed chicken in puff pastry, francaise blend vegetables and lemon meringue pie. The cost is $15 per person. College Club of Sharon will host an English High Tea at 1 p.m. April 12 at First Presbyterian Church of Sharon fellowship hall, 600 E. State St., Sharon, Pa. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection will host a luncheon, A Bright and Shiny April, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 9 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W.
