Society will host fundraiser

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Salem Historical Society and Museum, 801 E. Main St., will host a sale March 28 and 29 to raise funds for the museum. Society trustee Alice Deatherage, left, looks over the addition of the Indulgence Soap available in the society’s gift shop with Priscilla Wilde, the newest trustee. The gift shop also will be open during the sale, which will include antiques, collectibles, kitchen items, home decor, lighting, planting pots, rugs, tools, framed art, Salem memorabilia, toys, china and glassware. Donations are requested by March 27 and should be in working condition and clean. Clothing, TVs and electronics will not be accepted. Drop off items at the Dale Shaffer Library, 239 S.
