Kokrak shoots opening-round 67

ORLANDO, FLA. — Warren JFK High graduate Jason Kokrak shot a 5-under par 67 Thursday and is tied for fifth after the first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge.

Kokrak's round included seven birdies on holes 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14 and 16.

The Warren native trails first-round leader Adam Scott by five strokes. Scott matched the Bay Hill course record with a 10-under par 62 Thursday.
