'Healing' boot camp next week in Youngstown

The Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative is co-hosting a “Lifelines to Healing” boot camp for those impacted by incarceration, violence and racism.

The two-day training, slated to begin at 6 p.m. March 28 and end at 6 p.m. March 29 at Metro Assembly of God, 2530 South Ave., will convene faith leaders, returning citizens, those in recovery and other affected individuals to speak about their experiences and prepare for action.

Those registering are asked to share their information with a local organizer or send a name, address, and phone number to info@mvorganizing.org when registering by email. Participants are asked to indicate if they will be staying overnight or if any special accommodations are needed. Register by Friday.
