Australia checking 2 objects in search for plane

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Australian rescue officials say a search in the southern Indian Ocean for possible objects from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane has ended for the day but will resume in the morning. A statement from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority says four planes searched an area about 2,500 kilometers (1,550 miles) southwest of Perth today.
