Program to focus on great Valley women

“Founding Mothers: Great Women in Mahoning Valley History” will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown.

The free program is being presented by the Mahoning Valley Historical Society and the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown. It focuses on Catherine Dougherty Hillman, Margaret Van Horn Dwight, Dora Schwebel and Mary Ann Campana, whose lives are woven into the history of the Mahoning Valley.

Traci Manning, curator of education for the MVHS, is the presenter.
