Maple Syrup festival set for two weekends

Boardman Park’s Maple Syrup Festival will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and March 29 and 30.

Boardman Rotary will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast including sausage, juice, coffee and tea.

The cost is $6 for adults and free for children 6 and under.

There will be Civil War re-enactors, woodcarvers, Boardman Historical Society and a display by the Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society; some art will be for sale. There also will be a wagon ride through the trails, and Boy Scout Troop 60 will demonstrate their skills.
