Free help offered Saturday for health care insurance signups

NILES — Humility of Mary Health Partners is teaming up with Access Health Mahoning Valley to offer free help to those wishing to sign up for health care insurance before the March 31 deadline.

Staff from Access Mahoning Valley and HMHP from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eastwood Mall Community Room near Dillard’s, where they will help answer questions about health insurance options and assist with online enrollment.

Financial help is available to help pay monthly premiums, but only for people who sign up by March 31. Ohio residents with lower annual incomes (one-person household below $16,111, two-person household below $21,714, etc.) may now qualify for Medicaid and can also sign up at this event.
