Boardman cops arrest two after drug probe

Boardman police arrested two men Tuesday at the same apartment building on Stadler Avenue following a drug investigation.

Akira Jackson, 31, is charged with trafficking in heroin in the vicinity of a juvenile, possession of drug abuse instruments, paraphernalia, cocaine and having weapons while under disability.

Brian Malysa, 30, is charged with possession of heroin, two counts of possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, selling, purchasing or delivering dangerous drugs and the illegal manufacture of drugs or cultivation of marijuana.

Malysa is in the Mahoning County jail. Jackson posted bond after he was booked on Tuesday.

Court dates for both men have not been set.
