Semi truck carrying scrap metal jackknifes on Interstate 680 south

YOUNGSTOWN — Police say to expect traffic delays after a semi truck carrying scrap metal jackknifed on Interstate 680 southbound near the state Route 711 exit.

A police spokesman said traffic is slowing down on both sides of the freeway as the tractor trailer spilled some of its load of scrap about 3:10 p.m.

Traffic is being diverted to state Route 711 for the time being.
