A summary of recent police activity in Hubbard, Liberty and Girard:
HUBBARD
March 4
Arrest: Police responded to a report of a vehicle having struck a pole near North Main and Moore streets before charging 54-year-old Keith F. Beardsley of Elmwood Drive, Hubbard, with operating a vehicle impaired, leaving the scene of an accident and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, all misdemeanors.
March 7
Harassment: An East Liberty Street man said his former wife has sent him and his girlfriend such text messages.
March 8
Arrest: Officers picked up Benjamin E. Peterson, 35, of Robert Street, Masury. He was accused of failing to appear in court on a probation-violation charge.
Theft: Six hundred feet of copper piping was removed from the basement of a home in the 500 block of Oriole Drive, though police found no signs of forced entry.
March 10
Harassment: A student at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported another student sent threatening text messages.
LIBERTY
March 6
Drugs: Officers answered a shoplifting call at Walmart, 200 Goldie Road, where 29-year-old Bryant D. Robinson faced a felony drug-possession charge after police said Robinson, of Kenmore Avenue, Youngstown, had a bag of codeine and acetaminophen, an analgesic often used to treat headaches and arthritis.
Arrest: Township authorities in Struthers picked up Beau J. Geidner, 25, of Fourth Street, Struthers. Geidner was wanted on a theft warrant.
Theft: A Tuttle Lane man told officers a 29-year-old Warren man failed to make agreed-upon payments to the accuser after he had sold a pickup truck. The Warren man also failed to return the vehicle, a report said.
Arrest: Authorities investigated a suspicious person walking near Breeze Knoll Drive before charging 22-year-old Cody A. Fiorentino of Breeze Knoll, Liberty, with obstructing official business. Fiorentino refused several times to provide his name or state what he was doing in the area, police said.
Employee theft: An official with Valley Grocer Wholesale Inc., 1282 Trumbull Ave., alleged a worker improperly sold products to customers at deep discounts, resulting in an undisclosed sum of money missing from the business.
Theft: An employee of Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, reported his $500 cellphone stolen from a desk.
Arrest: Youngstown police handed 59-year-old Evelyn Fletcher to township authorities. Fletcher, of Ford Avenue, Youngstown, was wanted on a felony-theft charge.
March 7
Arrest: Police responded to a shoplifting situation at K&P Sports in the Liberty Plaza and arrested 28-year-old Deana R. Jenkins of West Hylda Avenue, Youngstown, on a Boardman warrant charging theft.
Theft: Twenty-two DVDs and various box sets were removed from a home in the 400 block of Richards Drive.
Weapon: While answering a call about a possible burglary in the 2900 block of Northview Boulevard, authorities handed a summons to Matthew J. Braymon Jr. of Trumbull Avenue, Girard, after saying Braymon, 19, had a pair of brass knuckles.
Burglary: To a residence in the 3000 block of Logangate Road, where a 20-inch flat-screen TV, a Sony PlayStation 3 system and $20 worth of food were taken, for a $530 loss.
March 8
Arrest: Jerwanda M. Atkins, no address listed, was taken into custody at the Mahoning County jail. The 22-year-old Atkins was wanted on three township warrants charging theft.
Arrest: Police received information about a possible domestic-violence situation with a knife before charging 36-year-old Anessa C. Davenport of Fifth Avenue, Youngstown, with obstructing official business when, they said, she failed to cooperate.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Beverly Hills Drive woman alleged her son took her 2013 Kia vehicle without permission and failed to return it.
March 9
Trespassing: Eric J. Wallace, 25, of Northview Boulevard, Liberty, was given a summons charging him with criminal trespassing after police responded to a report of someone soliciting for money in the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue. Wallace had been warned repeatedly to stay off the property, a report showed.
Arrest: Youngstown police in the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue transferred custody of 38-year-old Danny Rabold to Liberty authorities. Rabold, of Saratoga Drive, Liberty, was accused of failing to appear in court on a theft count.
Drugs: A traffic stop near Hadley Avenue led to a minor-misdemeanor citation charging Julian E. Missioni, 22, of Virginia Trail, Liberty, with having a small bag of suspected marijuana.
Arrest: Police were dispatched to the Mahoning County jail to pick up 51-year-old Cynthia Matsouris of Meanderwood Drive, Canfield. She was accused of failing to appear in court to face a traffic offense.
Arrest: Charles E. Rivers, 40, of Charlotte Avenue, Youngstown, was charged with stealing $91 worth of energy drinks from Walmart. Rivers also was wanted on three Youngstown warrants.
March 10
Recovered property: A $400 smartphone was found on a front porch in the 1300 block of Virginia Trail.
Arrest: Youngstown police handed 43-year-old Derick Edwards to township authorities. Edwards, of Narcissa Street, Struthers, was wanted on a charge of failure to appear in court.
Arrest: Campbell authorities relinquished custody of Michael D. Hackett, 27, of Park Heights Avenue, Youngstown, who township police accused of failing to appear in court to face traffic-violation charges.
GIRARD
March 8
Arrest: Authorities took into custody 28-year-old Craig Siciliano of Washington Street, Girard, who was wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear in court.
Harassment: A Trumbull Avenue man said a Warren man has been making unwanted calls to him.
March 10
Fraud: A man at a U.S. Route 422 grocery store discovered someone made $276 worth of fraudulent charges to his debit card after he had lost his wallet.
Trespassing: Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Park Avenue, where they issued summonses charging Carl W. Brune Jr., 22, of Buckeye Circle, Youngstown, and Monica L. Jones, 19, of East Main Street, Girard, with criminal trespassing.
March 11
Harassment: A Trumbull Avenue woman told police someone affiliated with a medical-supply company has continually called trying to get her to buy a test meter.
