BOARDMAN

A township man is missing after not being heard from for two days and not reporting for work.

Thomas Nagle, II, 43, of Windsor Road, was reported missing Wednesday by his 62-year old mother, Barbara Nagle, after last speaking on the phone to him Monday night. She told police her son is developmentally disabled.

According to a police report, he left a note at home for his mother that he was going to a friend’s house Monday night, but he missed work Tuesday.

Barbara Nagle told police there has been a 20-year-old male who has been threatening her son at work. She said the two met while riding the bus sometime in 2013.

Boardman police were called to his workplace Feb. 21 to respond to a call for the same male threatening Thomas Nagle, but they were unable to find him once on the scene.

The name of the 20-year- old male was redacted from the police report.

On Wednesday about 10:45 a.m., police in Glouster, in Athens County southeast of Columbus, had contact with Thomas Nagle, but Boardman authorities were unable to find out what type of contact that was.
