Two-vehicle crash seriously injures three

AUSTINTOWN

Three men from Lowellville were seriously injured Wednesday after their car became lodged underneath a commercial tractor-trailer traveling on state Route 46.

Bryan Brady, 20, had been southbound in the right lane on Route 46, when he collided at about 2:20 p.m. with the tractor-trailer driven by Gordon Rousseau, 34, of Galesburg, Mich., which was northbound from the Interstate 80 eastbound exit ramp.

Brady and his passengers — Rex Morrison, 18, and Tyler Dunn, 23, — were extricated from the car and taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Rousseau was not injured.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canfield Post is investigating.
