Trumbull Mobile Meals gets Bottom Dollar grant
WARREN — Trumbull Mobile Meals has received a $2,500 grant from the Bottom Dollar Food Charitable Foundation to assist with feeding programs to help local residents.
Trumbull Mobile Meals will use the gift to provide meals to individuals who cannot afford the full cost of home delivered meals.
Trumbull Mobile Meals provides one or two meals per day, delivered at the same time, Monday through Friday in Trumbull County. One meal is hot and meant to be eaten at noon. A sack lunch meal goes into the refrigerator to be enjoyed during the evening.
The Bottom Dollar Food Charitable Foundation provides financial support for programs and organizations working to end hunger and food insecurity in the communities it serves.
