Pa. teacher charged with groping girls


MEDIA, Pa. (AP) — A second-grade teacher at a suburban Philadelphia school is accused of inappropriately touching three female students.

Paul Hochschwender, 54, of Broomall was arraigned today on charges of institutional sexual assault, indecent assault on a person younger than 13, and corruption of minors.

Hochschwender is accused of groping the girls inside a classroom at the Darby Township Elementary School. He has been a teacher there for nine years.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan said he expects more alleged victims to come forward.
