Youngstown police arrest 2 men on South Side

Police arrested a man wanted on warrants with a gun after spotting him at a South Side gas station about 7:15 p.m. Monday.
Officers saw Anthony Cleveland, 22, pumping gas into a car at the South Avenue gas station. When they pulled in, he began running. He was caught a short time later and told police he had a gun. Officers found a loaded .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun.
He was taken into custody on the warrants from Youngstown Municipal Court and also on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of official business and possession of drugs after he admitted he had a bottle of cough syrup in the car. He also had $280 in cash, reports said.
Police arrested the car’s driver, Marquise J. Hornbuckle, 19, of Youngstown, on charges of possession of drugs/heroin after police found two packets of suspected heroin in his pockets. He also had almost $1,250 in cash, reports said.
