Gas leak fixed at scout cabin in Girard

GIRARD

A gas leak resulted in evacuation of the Liberty Park scout cabin Wednesday.

Girard police were alerted to the leak at the Mosier Road cabin at 5:30 p.m., said dispatcher Kevin Hetrick. He added that Dominion East Ohio crews fixed the problem not long afterward, and let everyone back into the building no later than 7 p.m.
