Free US citizenship-preparation classes offered at Choffin

YOUNGSTOWN — The English Center, in collaboration with Youngstown City Schools adult ABLE program, is offering free U.S. citizenship-preparation classes.

The classes will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting next week and running through May 20 at Choffin Career & Technical Center, 200 E. Wood St.

Classes will be in the center’s ABLE suite, classroom B-002. They are designed to help potential citizens prepare for the citizenship test. Classes will cover American history and government and review the naturalization application. Call the English Center at 330-743-5767 for information or to register.
