CANFIELD

Feb. 24

Theft: Police arrested Tabitha Kerr, 44, of Youngstown-Hubbard Road, Youngstown, on two counts of theft by deception.

March 4

Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested Zachary Mayo, 29, of Alliance, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

March 3

Theft: Several guns, furniture, a safe, money and two license-plate stickers were stolen at a home in the 40 block of Evans Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Joshua McCormack, 24, of Ashtabula, on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Vandalism: Vandalism was reported at a home in the 300 block of Idlewood Road.

March 4

Telecommunications harassment: A woman told police she was receiving unwanted calls from a male at an apartment in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

Drug charges: Police arrested Devonte West, 21, of McMyler Street, Warren, a passenger in a stolen car, on charges of vandalism to a police car, obstructing official business, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine, drug abuse and falsification.

Criminal damaging: An unidentified liquid was poured into a gas tank of a vehicle parked at a home in the 400 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: An undetermined amount of money was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Identity theft: A credit card was opened without authorization at a home in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.

March 5

Theft: Police issued a summons to David Higham, 22, and Heather Nelson, 20, both of South Raccoon Road, on a charge of theft of $83.95 in merchandise at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Michael Kohut, 37, of North Bon Air Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for theft.

Warrant: Police arrested George Nicula, III, 31, of Prospect Street, Struthers on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.

Recovered property: A vehicle stolen from a home in the 300 block of South Inglewood Avenue was recovered in Youngstown.

Warrant: Police arrested Keri Brown, 32, of Kirk Road, on a warrant for theft.

Identity theft: Federal tax returns were filed using the victim’s name who lives in the 1000 block of Fountain Square Drive.

Theft: A man is accused of taking his grandmother’s medications from a home in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

Animal complaint: A St. Bernard and a goat were abandoned with no food or water at a home in the 400 block of Idlewood Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Adrian Kimbrough, 18, of New Road, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.

March 6

Theft: An expiration sticker was stolen from an auto at the Casal Aveda Institute, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

March 7

Breaking and entering: A 2014 International truck was stolen along with numerous items and tools from a trailer at All To Do It Tech Service, 540 N. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: Three vehicles on a car hauler were damaged by a sharp object at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A woman reported $300 missing from a pre-loaded debit card at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Drug offense: A fake prescription was passed at Walgreens, 40 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Two Otter box cases were stolen at Radio Shack, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman took a computer and a tablet from an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive and pawned them.

Warrant: Police arrested Ashley Roy,21, of Argonne Drive, on a warrant for grand theft.

March 8

Disturbance: Five females were fighting at a home in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Domestic violence: Threats were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

March 9

Theft: A wallet was reported stolen at Denny’s, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Brandon Treharn, 26, of North Judson Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Luke Wilson, 22, of North Lima, on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Passing bad checks: A suspect passed bad checks at Handyman Hardware, 4351 Kirk Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Ratko Sinanovic, 20, of Old Oak Drive, Cortland, on a charge of possession of drugs.
