Dallas Seavey wins his second Iditarod dog race

NOME, Alaska (AP) — Dallas Seavey won his second Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race early today, taking the lead just hours before his finish. Seavey, 27, was the first musher under the famed burled arch finish line in Nome. He ran a blistering pace the last 77 miles to catch the two mushers in front of him, four-time champion Jeff King and Aliy Zirkle, who finished in second several minutes after Seavey.
