Ohio police say Tennessee fugitive flees stop

CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities in southwest Ohio are seeking a Tennessee fugitive they say got away from a traffic stop.

The Hamilton County sheriff’s office says 25-year-old Terrance D. Brown is wanted in connection with a slaying and robbery in the Nashville area. Police say he was a passenger in a car stopped early this morning for a traffic violation on state Route 562 in the Cincinnati area.

Police say he fled on foot into a wooded area along Interstate 71. A search with helicopter and police dog units has been unsuccessful. Police say Brown should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say two other people in the vehicle have been released.
