Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, is sponsoring The Gathering Place, a senior fun day, on Monday. Meet-and-greet and registration will be from 11 to 11:30 a.m., a light lunch for $3 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a program on developing a healthy outlook for seniors by Kurt Beler of Humility of Mary from 12:30 to 1:15, and cards and games from 1:15 to 3.
Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., has planned a one-day paint-on-canvas class from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 20 The session will be conducted by Stephanie Miller, owner of Wonderstruck Artisan Market and Classes, from Canfield. The cost is $30 and includes all materials. Participants will choose either an 11-by-14-inch or a 16-by-20-inch canvas. The subject will be a spring scene.
