1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Great Hall on Fifth Street in Struthers. John Texter will preside. Cancellations must be made today by calling Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Illness or deaths should be reported to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552. Dues of $5 for 2014 will be collected in March and April.

AARP Chapter 4339 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Austintown Senior Center. The board meeting will take place at noon. Blood pressure screenings will be available. The speaker will be Melissa Ames, from the Better Business Bureau. Membership applications for 2014 will be accepted. Refreshments will be served. If Austintown Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the meeting will be canceled.

Golden Pillars’ monthly meeting on Tuesday has been canceled. After some 34 years, the group will forgo its monthly meetings at the present time.

J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s.

Local 1199 Retirees will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the union hall, 310 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Suite 8. New members are welcome.

Sears Friendship Club will meet at noon Monday at What’s Cookin’ in Mathews Road Plaza, South Avenue, Boardman.

St. Joseph Goldenagers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lyons Hall. Evelyn Menaldi will preside, and Carol McClain will give the thought for the day. Members are asked to pay their $5 dues. Birthdays and anniversaries will be honored, and cards will be played. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and pizza will be served. Get well wishes will be sent to members who are ill.
