Participation sought for fireworks festival

The Fireworks Festival and the Lawrence County Tourist Promotion Agency are asking for ethnic groups or clubs to participate in this year’s 2014 Fireworks Festival scheduled for July 12.

Nonprofit groups should contact the office if interested in celebrating diversity and culture.

Each group will be offered two 10-by-10-foot spaces to help showcase their culture in the Little New York portion of the festival.

There will be no charge for the booth spaces.

Efforts will be combined with New Castle Art Fest, Warner Film Center and the Lawrence County Historical Society.
