Survivors of Suicide training March 25 in Lisbon

LISBON

Local Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) training is offered from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. March 25 at the Columbiana County Counseling Center, 40722 state Route 154.

Counselors and social workers can receive 5.5 continuing education units, provided by Help Hotline Crisis Center, by attending this workshop. There is no charge to attend and no charge for the CEUs.

The registration deadline is Wednesday. Call Pat Ross 330-420-9621, ext. 102 to register for the workshop and CEUs.

After the training, it will be determined if enough people are interested to form a Columbiana County LOSS Team, which is composed of a variety of individuals including the survivors of a suicide loss and does not require any professional training or education, Ross said.
