Meeting Friday morning to get public input on Liberty hotel exemption

Trumbull County commissioners will have a special meeting at 9 a.m. Friday in the commissioners meeting room on the fifth floor at 160 High Street NW, to receive public input and consider the proposed real estate tax exemption for a hotel planned for Belmont Avenue in Liberty.

Liberty Belmont Properties would receive a 49 percent, 10-year property tax exemption on the 86-unit, $6.5 million hotel, which would be in the Belmont Avenue Community Reinvestment Area on the site formerly occupied by a Ramada Inn.
