Hubbard waterline repairs begin Friday

HUBBARD — Due to anticipated repairs on a main waterline, city water customers are asked to conserve their water.

Work to repair the line will begin at noon Friday, and at that time the city will no longer be able to receive water for the Christian Avenue storage tank. The tank, however, will be filled before line repairs get underway.

The repairs are scheduled to be completed by 8 p.m., and once they are complete, a boil advisory will be in effect for 48 hours, city officials said in a press release.
