Hubbard schools name new superintendent

The Hubbard school board has chosen a new district superintendent.

He is Raymond Soloman, who’s now principal of Hubbard Roosevelt Elementary School.

He will be paid $90,000 a year under a three-year contract, said school board president Don Newell.

He will begin Aug. 1. The present superintendent, Richard Buchenic, retires as of July 31.
