Diana Tremblay, General Motors vice president of global business services, will be the keynote speaker at the 22nd annual ATHENA Award dinner May 22 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.
The award recognizes area business and professional women who distinguish themselves in terms of professional achievement, community service and support for professional women.
The dinner is hosted by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and The Vindicator, but additional sponsors are being sought.

Chamber anniversary

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will celebrate its 20th anniversary and recognize area business and political leaders at the Annual Meeting and Luncheon on March 20.
This year’s honorees are Robert Shroder, CEO and president of Humility of Mary Health Partners; Sylvester J. Frazzini, general manager and vice president of American Business Center Inc.; Chris Jasklewicz, president and COO of VEC INC.; and Trumbull County Commissioners Paul Heltzel, Frank Fuda and Dan Polivka.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.
There is a cost of $30 for Regional Chamber members and $40 for nonmembers.

Investment event
AUSTINTOWN
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will host a presentation about business investment opportunities in the Republic of Macedonia on Wednesday at the Holiday Inn Express in Austintown.
The event will feature area business leaders and a delegation from Macedonia, which will include the event’s keynote speaker Vladimir Peshevski, Macedonia’s deputy prime minister.
The event runs from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at 5555 Cerni Place.

Ohio code changes
BOARDMAN
The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Valley, along with the Mahoning County Building Inspection Department, will host a free seminar for area builders and businesses focusing on changes to the Residential Code of Ohio.
The seminar will take place from noon to 2 p.m. March 12 at the Holiday Inn Express, 7410 South Ave.
