Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church was the setting of the Aug. 31, 2013, wedding of Antonia Ngozi Nwankwo and Edward Charles Marshall Jr.
Dr. Leah F. White officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.
A reception followed at Mahoning Country Club.
Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Nwankwo of Youngstown, and his parents are Connie Hammonds-Marshall and Edward C. Marshall, both of Huntsville, Ala.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple reside in Baltimore.
The bride wore an off the shoulder taffeta A-line pickup gown with a chapel train. It was embellished with draped embroidery at the hips and sides.
The bride’s cousin, Sherry Williams, and Kenielle Ford were her honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Laneisha Lewis and Barbara Fant. Skylar Williams, the bride’s niece, was flower girl.
The attendants wore coral-colored gowns.
Jason Chapman performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Akeem Smith; Anthony C. Nwankwo, the bride’s brother; and Dr. Michael Johnson, the groom’s brother. Elijah Williams, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer. Yves Hill was an usher.
Mrs. Marshall earned a bachelor’s degree in cellular molecular biology from Hampton University.
She is a clinical trials research coordinator for Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Her groom is attending Catonsville Community College.
He is an Army and Navy veteran and works for the U.S. Veterans Association in Baltimore.
