Grocers group’s wine, beer taste will benefit Catholic ministries

The Youngstown Area Grocer’s Association will host its 9th Annual Wine & Beer Taste, which will benefit the HIV-AIDS Ministry of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown and the Prince of Peace Center in Farrell, Pa.
The gala event is planned from 6 to 9 p.m. March 14 at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave.
Participants will have the opportunity to sample more than 100 wines and microbrews while enjoying gourmet food as the Buddy White Trio entertains.
Tickets cost $50 per person and $350 for a table of eight. Bus transportation will be available from Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce parking lot for $10 per person.
