Cash, cigarettes stolen from East Side drive-through

YOUNGSTOWN

Someone took about $5,200 in cash from an East Side drive-through sometime Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the Far Less Drive Through, 1851 Oak St., at about 10 a.m. after an employee came to work and found a side door open.

The employee told police the door had been locked when the last person left at about 1 a.m. Thursday.

The cash was taken from an office inside. Also taken were 69 packs of cigarettes.

Reports say someone pried the door open with a tool to get inside.
