Youngstown man draws 25-year prison sentence for child porn
YOUNGSTOWN — A 68-year-old Youngstown man received a 25-year federal prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to two counts of coercing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
Leslie James Coe had also pleaded guilty to knowingly receiving and distributing in interstate and foreign commerce numerous computer files containing visual depictions of real minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
The coercion of a minor counts date back to 1998 and 2001, and the picture distribution count refers to activities between March and August 2013.
Coe, a Navy veteran with no prior criminal record, drew the sentence today from U.S. District Court Judge Sara Lioi in Akron. The judge ordered that Coe be placed on supervised release for the rest of his life if he outlives his prison term.
