Summer camp offered

YOUNGSTOWN

My Town, Your Town, Youngstown Summer Day Camp offers students a chance to explore local history at its source. The five-day camp is sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Historical Society and features field trips to several historic sites and landmarks, focusing on Youngstown history and its role in the future.

The camp runs from July 7 through 11 at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 648 Wick Ave. Each day begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., but early drop-off and late pick-up are available. Registration is required, and forms can be found at www.mahoninghistory.org or by calling 330-743-2589. The registration fee is $85 for MVHS members, $85 for Youngstown City residents, or $100 for non-MVHS members/residents.

YOUNGSTOWN

The Links Inc. will present a program against bullying at 3 p.m. Monday at the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown, 2105 Oak Hill Ave.

Presenters will be Carla Baldwin Fields, assistant Mahoning County Prosecutor, juvenile division; Officer Michael Bodnar, planning and training, Youngstown Police Dept.; and Tracy Winbush, host and CEO at T-Win Media Group, radio talk show.
