Hope House announces 3rd golf outing fundraiser

Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini will be the celebrity golfer this year at the third annual Hope House Visitation Center golf outing fundraiser to take place Aug. 15 at Youngstown Country Club.
Denise DeBartolo York is the corporate sponsor for the event, and Matt Taylor of Taylor Kia of Boardman will offer a 2014 Kia Cadenza on a hole for the hole-in-one prize. There also will be a $1,000 prize for closest to the pin.
Basket auction prizes include sports-related items such as cornhole board games; lottery/cash; golfer, OSU and restaurant gift card baskets; and sports memorabilia. A live auction with many high-end items also is planned.

Hope House Visitation Center, 660 W. Earle Ave., is a nonprofit facility that provides safe, neutral supervised visitation for children whose families are in crisis because of divorce, separation, visitation, family violence, child abuse, child sexual abuse, or any issue in which safety is a concern.
Hope House provides a safe, neutral, child friendly space for children to see their parents, grandparents and siblings, regardless of the abuse and or neglect they have suffered.
A deputy sheriff is present, and trained staffers, volunteers and Youngstown State University interns supervise each visit or exchange.
The community built Hope House through the Junior League of Youngstown. It is a model facility throughout the state.
