Warren Police Department and Trumbull County Coronor’s Office are investigating the death of a white female whose body was found on the side of the road along Pershing Avenue Southwest on Friday.

The brown-haired female, described as under 30, 5’6” to 5’ 7” in height and weighing 140 to 150 pounds, had no identification on her.

Anyone who can identify the photo above is asked to contact Warren Detective Michael Stabile at the police department at 330-841-2512 (dispatch) or 330-841-2576 (office).

Run of the Mill is set for Wednesday in McDonald

The 13th annual Run of the Mill will start at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday before the 81st Annual Firemen’s Homecoming Festival Parade.

The race is 1 mile downhill through the center of the village starting at Holiday Hot Tubs and proceeding along Ohio Avenue to the gates of McDonald Steel. It benefits the school cross country teams.

Entry fee is $12 for pre-registration and $15 the day of the race. Entries should be mailed to McDonald track and cross country, 2155 Watson-Marshall Road, McDonald, OH 44437.

Winner in the male and female division gets $100; runner-up gets $50. For more information, call 330-530-4209.

32nd Guilford Lake boat parade Friday

GUILFORD LAKE

The theme of the 32nd annual Guilford Lake Boat Parade at 2 p.m. Friday is Honor the Military.

Representing all the military, active and veterans, will be the Todd and Tracy Winn Family of Salem, all five of whom are serving or are veterans of the Army National Guard.

Major Todd Winn, retired, was deployed twice to Afghanistan. Staff Sgt. Tracy Winn, a Wounded Warrior undergoing treatment at Walter Reed Hospital, was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Specialist Rachel Myers returned from Afghanistan in February and is still on active duty. Sgt. Josh Pittman is in the Texas Reserves, and Matt Jenkins, sergeant-inactive, lives in Columbus. Todd, Tracy, Rachael and Matt will ride in the Commodore’s Boat.
