Mollie Patrick and Ryan Miller, both of West Greenwich, R.I., are engaged, her family is announcing.

She is the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Patrick of Poland, and he is the son of Robert and Diane Miller of Quogue, N.Y.

The engaged couple will exchange vows in a 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20 ceremony at Topnotch Resort in Stowe, Vt., where a reception will follow. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also graduated from the University of Vermont with a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology. She is a research fellow at Brown University in Providence, R.I.

The prospective groom graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in studio art. He is a senior web developer for Dealer.com in Burlington, Vt.
