singing and eating What it’s all about

“How Can We Keep from Singing ... and Eating” is the theme of an upcoming program planned to showcase favorite songs along with fresh ones. The event also will celebrate local, seasonal foods.

Who: The event will be hosted by Leetonia, Midway and North Lima Mennonite churches and is being sponsored by Angiuli Farm, Huffman Farm, All Good Things and Goodness Grows.

When: The event is set for July 17 with dinner at 5 p.m. A catered entree and salad by chef Adam Lee of The Sprouted Table will be featured; cost is $14. There also will be a potluck option with participants bringing salads and desserts to accompany hot sandwiches provided by the church. Participants must register for the catered dinner or potluck by July 15 by calling Leetonia Mennonite Church at 330-427-6827 or sending email to leetoniamennonite@yahoo.com.
