McNally makes appointments to boards

YOUNGSTOWN — Mayor John A. McNally appointed Jamael Tito Brown, who he beat in last year’s Democratic primary for mayor, as his representative on the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District board of directors.

The appointment is for three years, which started Wednesday and ends June 24, 2017.

Brown is a former 2nd Ward councilman and city council president.

Also, McNally appointed Porfirio Esparra Jr. to a five-year term on the city’s board of health. That term expires March 31, 2019.
