ABWA selects Woman of the Year

Tri-Gold Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association recently selected Dolly Sonnenlitter as its 2014-2015 Woman of the Year.

She has been a chapter member for more than six years and has been chapter president for the past two years.

Sonnenlitter has been chairwoman of the Chapter’s basket auction for two of the five years she has served on the committee.

In the community Sonnenlitter supports Relay for Life, Special Olympics, Girl Scouts and Fairhaven School.

She retired four years ago from the YMCA, where she served as membership secretary for 22 years.

She and her husband, Bill, who reside in Girard, have been married 45 years and have five children.
