Quilts are made by inmates

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Barbara King, assistant warden at Lorain Correctional Institution, displays a quilt made by a male inmate at the Grafton facility. A select group of inmates are chosen for the quilting program, and all quilts are donated to charities. King recently spoke to members of That Quilt Group I Belong To of Canfield and showed a variety of quilts made by the inmates. All of the fabric and supplies for the program are donated by quilt groups, quilt stores and individuals. No state funds are used.
