Radio station will change frequency

YOUNGSTOWN

At noon Sunday, new radio station Star 93.7-FM will change its frequency to 94.7 on the FM dial.

The move enables the adult urban contemporary station to deliver a clearer sound with more wattage and a broader coverage area, said owner Skip Bednarczyk.

Star 93.7 has been on the air for a month.

After receiving federal approval, Bednarczyk decided to immediately take advantage of the opportunity.
